Acceptable Use Policy

OneWay is built for legitimate communication, business presence, and customer service. Misuse is not allowed.

Prohibited activity

  • Spam, unsolicited marketing, purchased lists, or bulk messaging without consent.
  • Phishing, fraud, scams, malware, deceptive links, or attempts to steal information.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, abuse, exploitation, or unwanted repeated contact.
  • Illegal goods, illegal services, illegal content, or activity that violates applicable law.
  • Impersonation, misleading identity, spoofed caller ID, or deceptive business presentation.
  • Carrier evasion, opt-out evasion, snowshoeing, number cycling, or attempts to bypass message filtering.
  • High-risk messaging abuse, including deceptive finance, health, political, emergency, or regulated-content messaging.

Consent and messaging rules

Users must obtain consent before sending SMS or asking OneWay to send messages to another person. Users must honor STOP and other opt-out requests and may not message recipients who have opted out.

Enforcement

OneWay may investigate, restrict, suspend, or remove accounts, stores, numbers, caller IDs, content, or messaging access when we detect misuse, suspected abuse, carrier rule violations, or unlawful activity.
